I really had a great time in Iowa Falls, my hometown. I flew in Kathie’s suitcase from Las Vegas. The minute we arrived in Des Moines, she got me out and I sat in the front seat of the car for the rest of the trip in May, 2010. The air was crispy but the rain felt good. You know what they say about Vegas ~ it’s dry heat!
Iowa Falls is known as the Scenic City, I guess because it is. There are so many historical buildings, the Iowa River, Ellsworth Community College, bridges ~ everywhere you look, and Kathie and I had family and friends to visit there too. (See all of our friends on “MY FRIENDS page)
I was in Iowa Falls for one purpose, however. I received an invitation to Ben and Jamie’s wedding! Was I excited and of course, I RSVP’d right along with Kathie, Tim, Doug, and Grandma. I could never miss my Ben’s wedding. Look at this wonderful picture of Ben, his beautiful bride, Jamie, and me.
