The MLK National Memorial in Washington D C is awesome! I was there, little plaid suit and all, last October. This huge statue of MLK overlooks a lake and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

More pictures. More friends. More memories of ASHA 2011. Next year ASHA is in Atlanta GA. I think I’ll ask Kathie if I can go there too. Of course, as you can see, I was very, very tired after my long day. Kathie was too. In fact, she dragged her heavy bag on the ground and I went bump – bump – bump all the way back to our hotel. Before I was tucked in for the night, Kathie, Tim, and I laughed a little as we talked about someone calling me “Humphrey.” Then, I closed my big eyes and dreamed of ASHA.

Here I am again. Kathie and I ate lunch in the exhibit hall with these two SLP’s on Friday. One is a friend from Las Vegas and the other is a new friend. “Make new friends, but keep the old . . .”
Gee, I’m an old friend to everybody.
